Mardi Gras Ball

On Tuesday, Laynie and I attended a Mardi Gras Rooftop Party given by Rowan Carroll of She’s So Unusual. Laynie, being the expert on all things New Orleans, told me I needed to dress in either gold, purple, or green(official colors of Mardi Gras). This finally gave me a chance to wear that beautiful gold gown from Evie’s Closet called Tya’s Sage. I just had to wear one of the new S5 skins from TULI which came out in full force yesterday. Ingenue’s Bombshell(my go-to hair) and Alienbear’s Cameo Set finished off the outfit.
The foreground was treated with Virtual Photographer’s Fall filter and a slight touch of exposure. Keeping the the Mardi Gras colors I used to purple fabric background and treated it with the glamor filter.

Tuli skin

I just wanted to say thank you to tuli for working hard on these new skins. They seem to be the new skin highlight. I love wearing skins that have a natural look to. To me I’m very picky on my skins but with this new tuli skin. I just love it. The face just has the right outline for the lips and eyes. I usually change my skin alot..eeh depending on my outfit I wear, but now I don’t think I will. I know alot of the skins lately…been ripped off by people that like to steal textures. To me I hate people like that because its a complete rip off. I do also wana thank everyone who makes skins out there for everyone. You guys all have your own unique style and work hard at it. That I am happy to pay for the skins that you make.

People with unique Fashion

I always seem to come across people with unique fashion. They put together outfits that look creative. This is my daughter in sl that seems to always have different ideas on outfits.
She can be all casual dress or next moment all goth or emo. I like to have different outfits my self. Just depends on the mood i’m in on how I want to dress.
She has these fav outfits she likes to wear

Oh my gosh, what a day! I got a gift certificate to primOptix (I think? Gotta check the spelling and get a LM), so I absolutely HAD to get these glasses. LOVE THEM!!! I can’t wait long enough to log in and grab the names, I have to post now!
Then Neural gave me this monkey tee shirt. I don’t know if you know this… but I *ADORE* monkeys! So… I present to you…

Giants Win! Holy Crap!

My husband has always been a die-hard Giants fan so I have had fun playing around with outfit combinations using the cheerleader costume that Laynie made. I liked this look the best, the cheerleader w/ attitude. The hair is the dreadlock ponytails from SoulFire, the metallic, deep red pom poms are from Spirit, the lustrebean skin is from Gala, the turtleneck is also from LaynieWear, and the socks are mine at Style Your Destiny.
I used Virtual photographer with the fall colors filter(my favorite) on the foreground and Colorworks faded filter on the background.
