Wunderland Records has just released their first annual Second Life Christmas CD for $500L. There is something very special about this CD. Not only does it feature 50 SL musicians but the 100% of the proceeds from the of the CD will be donated to Toys for Tots. They have also made it easy to track the donations for the CD at their sales report which will update every 24 hours.
“Toys for Tots began in 1947, when group of Marine Reservists in Los Angeles, California collected and distributed
5,000 toys to needy children. For over the 62 years the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program has distributed more
than 400 million toys to more than 188 million needy children. This charitable endeavor has made Toys for Tots the
unchallenged leader in looking after less fortunate children at Christmas. Over its life span the Toys for Tots has
supplemented local toy collections with more than 81.3 million toys valued at more than $487 million.”
